1.       Business Name and what it does

Our brand name is iMusthav®, the inspiration of the brand name from I Must Have this Product! iMusthav® is an international brand, our products are designed in the UK. Regarding our current products, they are hair removal devices.

In 2020, we were pleased to announce the launch of a completely new range of ladies’ hair removal devices. This new range offers the best in class in terms of performance, quality and reliability and every device in the range comes with an 18K gold plated hypoallergenic head.

Top of the range is the DermaRazor (MV500). The world’s first Dermaplane Electric Razor.

A first mover, pioneering the technologically advanced combination of dermaplaning with an electric razor. The electric razor removes unwanted hair whilst the dermaplane simultaneously removes stubble and exfoliates for perfectly smooth skin. Designed for total body hair removal the DermaRazor comes with a skin guard for sensitive areas and combs for the bikini area.

The new Dual Function Brow and Facial Hair Remover (MV400) is another unique product.

Twin motors power a precision “pencil-tip” eyebrow remover, at one end of the device, and a mini facial hair remover at the other end – each with its own 360-degree LED illuminated bezel to ensure no stray hair is missed.  Everything needed for facial hair removal in a single rechargeable, handbag friendly device.

With a large twin ring floating head, this rechargeable unit can remove unwanted facial hair in half the time and the 360-degree LED illuminated bezel ensures no blind spots for perfect results every time.

The Mini-Series: Mini Eyebrow Remover (MV100) and Mini Facial Hair Remover (MV200)

Either of these two devices can easily fit into a small clutch bag. For people on the go who need the confidence to look perfect anytime, anyplace, anywhere. Both models still maintain the same high performance and 360-degree LED illumination.

2.       Founder’s/Owner’s story and what motivated them to start the business

[Our founder worked in the manufacturing industry producing hair removal products for major brands. Recognizing that many product design decisions placed priority of “form” over “function” and realised that prioritising functional performance need not be compromised by aesthetic design and so decided to develop a range of products with maximum performance as the priority.]

3.       The challenges the business/market is facing

Yes, we are facing challenges from time to time. For example, in these two aspects.

i. Safety:

Safety is very important, so for each of the products, our Product Research and Development Team spent over 2 years (around 3 years) making product development/ Same as most the pioneering technology company, across the years, we encountered many trials and errors, obtain comments and feedback from our focus group, then make improvements before finally launching the product. The process is hard and tough, but we can provide the highest quality products.

Before launching the product, we get approval from a 3rd-party lab test company to make sure the product is designed to be safe. Furthermore, all units are tested on the blown-up balloon before leaving the factory to ensure they can’t cause damage to the skin.

We understand everyone is not identical, so we will try our best to serve as many as possible customers, product performance and customer satisfaction are our top priorities, and we always keep improving our service.

ii. Threatened by new technology:

Permanent Hair Removal by Laser Hair Treatment technology is perhaps the ultimate solution for hair removal, However this technology has some drawbacks: it is relatively expensive, it only works well on dark hair and if misused the equipment can cause burns..

4.       The opportunities the business/market is facing

Competition for hair removal tools is very keen on the market, however, use the United States as an example, there are 330 million people in the USA alone. If we can sell to 0.1% in one year that is 330,000 units/year, so, we still think this still has the opportunity in this market.

5.       Advice to others about business

Doing business is really not easy, especially nowadays, competition is really, really, keen, so if you want to setup a new business, the product/service must be different from the current product on the market, differentiation or value added is one of the key points, you need to spend much time to do market research and product study. for example, our Product Research and Development Team will observe the product on the current market, and create a new function to improve their weakness, for example, most Facial hair remover products on the market offer an LED light, but they typically only illuminate in one direction, iMusthav created a 360 Degree LED light, in order to make sure there are no blind spots.

Here, we would like to introduce our Flagship product, which is called DermaRazor, it is the world’s first Dermaplane Electric Razor.
