ACNE POSITIVE MOVEMENT GROWING WITH GEN Z & EVEN ADULTS CAN LEARN FROM THEM ON THIS

Pimples are popularly gaining a new acne age representation, especially after the pandemic that taught people self-care and grooming tips. Individuals are now normalizing pimples with teens and adults transforming into realness. There is no more search for a ‘perfect look’ as was seen in earlier years through face filters on social media posts. Even brands are supporting the acne positive movement by limiting imperfection stigma and encouraging masses to feel great in their natural skin. I usually tell my clients to overlook the belief that imperfections need to be concealed or wrapping their self-worth in the skin appearance. Furthermore, my two girls aged 16 and 20 have numerous dark sports on their faces. It used to bother them at first, but I recently enlightened them about the acne positive movement and asked them to follow Charli D’Amelio’s story on Tik Tok to view people’s comments and contributions about the same, and it all turned positive. The 20-year-old no longer uses filters on her posts and I love how they are doing.
