Retinol
While retinol is supposed to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines, it can actually worsen them when used in large amounts. It is always best to start small as you monitor how your skin reacts. Gradually work your way up when your skin doesn’t become dry or irritated.
Brighteners
Brighteners are loaded with alpha hydroxy acids and hydroquinone. While most people think using them frequently promotes healthy skin, that is not the case. They cause sun-sensitive skin, increasing the chances of age spots.
