Ashwagandha is a small evergreen plant with yellow flowers. It is grown in India, Africa, and the Middle East. It has been used in traditional medicine for centuries now.

In another study by the same body of research, 5 g of ashwagandha was given to highly stressed men for 3 months for increased sperm quality. By the end of the study, 14% of these men impregnated their partners.

At the end of an 8-week study, their muscular power increased by 1% more than those who were on placebo.

Similar results were reported when the dosage of ashwagandha was increased to 600 mg. Physically active men were given this medication for eight weeks and by the end of the study, their muscular power increased by 1.5-1-7. Muscles mass also increased 1.6-2.3 times. All these were better than the results noticed in those who were on placebo,

5.      May Be Used To Lower Inflammation and Fight Infection

In another study of 60 days, participants were given 250-500 mg of ashwagandha. By the end of the study, levels of inflammation protein called C-reactive were reduced significantly by up to 30%.

Another study yielded the same results when participants were given 500 mg of ashwagandha. For both studies, the results were far much better than those who were on placebo.
