CBD soap is a popular method of delivering CBD to the body. There are several simple recipes for a homemade CBD soap; choose what works for you.

How CBD Soap Works

According to research, When CBD products are applied to the skin, the cannabinoid receptors absorb any CBD compounds and recharge. This creates homeostasis in the body and generates a perfect balance and composure. By making your own CBD soap, you can tailor it to your specific requirements. Homemade soaps are typically a vibrant and healthy blend of other natural oils, such as coconut and essential oils, which each have their scents and benefits. Soap does more than just change pH levels, allowing dirt to be washed away in the water. Various soaps can both moisturize and cleanse. When using activated charcoal, bentonite clay, and tea tree soaps (like this one), they disinfect and help balance oils to alleviate acne and promote faster healing. CBD oil in soap contains those elements that help relieve pain, so all that is required for a transformation to occur in contact. This is not to say that a longer contact time isn’t necessary.

Is There Any Value To The Saponification Process

CBD is not destroyed during the saponification process. Lye binds to salts in fatty acid chains, but it is unaltered by vitamins, minerals, or other components found in plants. Heat can cause a breakdown, but this isn’t a problem since soap only heats up to roughly 110 degrees Fahrenheit (and doesn’t harm the essential oils included).
