Since its establishment, it has been manufacturing unique products that other companies that come after it have been trying to emulate. It has shown its commitment to upholding CBD products for the past two decades by moving around the country to sensitize people to CBD products. In over 20 years, the brand has been using various technologies and different effective naturally occurring elements to manufacture the best products, which they have been using to their advantage. Unlike other brands, which come so many years after it, it ensures its products are safe for consumption and give accurate potency results derived from tests carried by its independent third-party lab. About the Company
Although the company doesn’t offer information on the people behind it, it has given information about itself in two ways; its history and the processes used to manufacture its products. Starting with its history, it was among the first CBD companies to be established. According to its website, it was established in 1998 and manufactured CBD products for more than two decades. Unlike other companies coming after Chronic Candy CBD, it committed itself to sensitize more people about CBD products by going all over the USA. As it moved across the country, it educated people on the importance of CBD and how CBD has improved people’s health and wellness. Notably, because it was established sometimes back, it has been changing technologies used in manufacturing its products as they keep advancing. Some of the unique products it has been using to its advantage include lollipops, gummies, chocolate bars and tinctures.
Besides, the company uses various naturally occurring ingredients to manufacture the best products within the CBD market. Although it primarily depends on the organic hemp plant, which dominates its products, other elements such as MCT oil have been infused to yield maximum effectiveness. Chronic Candy has been one of its best products that helped it gain fame, and various newly established brands took after it. Since it was established, it has been producing its products in isolate, broad or full-spectrum form and multiple tests using significant terpenes and cannabinoids extracted using the CO2 extraction method.
Furthermore, one can easily note a product catalogue and live products popping up one after another on its home page. Moving downwards, you will again see a defined product catalogue with product descriptions to help its customers understand better on the products. Besides each product, we have its name information regarding it. The description includes potency levels, form (full spectrum, broad-spectrum, isolate), ingredients, purpose, and flavour. Since buying experience is a key concern, we decided to shop some of its products. Notably, adding and removing products on our shopping cart was straightforward, and upon getting contented, you can cross-check the list before confirming the order by making payments. Also, upon moving from one product to the other as we shopped, we noted that more information about the product was offered, such as available sizes, the price, and an extended list of ingredients. Shortly after placing the order, we received a verification email bearing information on the products we had ordered, tracking number and assurance that we would receive our products in five days. On the third day, we received our products discreetly packed.
Since our interest was in the company’s lab results and COA report, we decided to seek more information. Before contacting its support team, we thought of checking for the information under “FAQ” and seeing if we could get guidance. Unfortunately, the company has no FAQ page on its online shop. As a result, we visited its “Contact Us” page to check more contact information given, despite noting an email at the lower part of its home page. Notably, it neither gives a physical address nor phone number. Apart from its email ([email protected]), you can also get in touch using the message box on the page. However, the company has three social media pages that help it bring customers together and interact; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Consequently, to customers who might not find its products effective or t damaged upon arrival, the company offers a full refund policy. Ensure you check your products on arrival before the shipping agent leaves to confirm they are in good condition. However, suppose you are using the products and don’t notice any effectiveness within 14 days. In that case, the company allows you to resend the unused products (only in good condition and original packaging). However, before sending them back, fill the complaint to its support team using its email. As soon as the goods arrive at the company’s dispatched location, their condition will be confirmed, and refund approved within 48 hours.
Manufacturing Process
Since CBD is all about quality, the company has its primary focus on crafting the best products that other brands have been emulating as the market continues to expand. For the company to come up with the best products to promote the health and wellness of people’s lives, they have been using organic hemp grown in Colorado. During its growth, it ensures artificial fertilizers and pesticides are used to boost its growth. As a result, they have been able to come up with the best hemp plant within Colorado, which they use to their advantage to manufacture exclusive products. Additionally, it has a team of qualified and experienced researchers whose responsibility is to identify the best ingredients worldwide to use to their advantage.
Since 1998, the company has been using C02 as its primary extraction method to obtain useful elements from the hemp plant. Due to the effectiveness of the extraction method, most companies have also been applying it. Since 2002, the company has also been going around the state sensitizing other brands using alternative extraction methods to adopt CO2 extraction method because it’s effective and eco-friendly.
According to its website, after manufacturing each line of products, it ensures they are tested for potency and purity levels to ensure they are effective and safe for consumption. The responsibility of conducting tests has been mandated to an independent third-party laboratory since public labs have a bad reputation in terms of accuracy. The first role of the lab is to ensure THC levels are contained below the needed range of 0.3%. Additionally, it must ensure the advertised CBD levels match the ones in the products to avoid under or overdose. After the tests have been conducted, they are published under “lab reports” on the website.
Range of Products
Despite the brand having been among the first CBD trademarks, it manufactures one of the unique products which are rare to find within CBD. Although it has a limited line of products, each is manufactured with great care to meet premium standards.
Chronic Candy CBD Gummies
The gummies are manufactured carefully to meet their effectiveness using CO2 hemp plant extracts, among other ingredients such as MCT oil, to yield rapid effectiveness. According to the product description, each bag contains 30 gummies with a total potency of 250 mg of CBD. However, since chewing has to be encouraged by good tests, they offer three flavours; Peach Rings, Sour Worms and Neon Bears. In addition, it warns users with medical conditions and pregnancy to avoid using them. Lastly, it recommends them for oral use, and one should administer at most three in a day.
Chronic Candy CBD Lollipops
Lollipops are rare CBD products since it’s the only company we have witnessed to have considered manufacturing them. Currently, the company offers four types of lollipops; Variety pack ($24.00), Con Chile ($10.00), Con Chile Variety pack ($24.00) and Chronic Candy lollipops ($10.00). As we went through all the lollipops offered, we noted that they were presented in at least four flavours to enhance the prolonged administering experience. To mention but a few, they exist in either Blue Dream, Strawberry, Lemon Haze, OG, Tangie, e.t.c. They are manufactured to meet calming effects, among other health and wellness concerns.
Chronic Candy CBD Tinctures
Unlike gummies and lollipops, it offers only one flavor of tincture products manufactured using CO2 organic hemp plant extracts. The tinctures enhance relaxation and can be administered directly orally or in foods or beverages. In addition, each serving is sold in a bottle of 3o ml and two potency levels; 1000 mg and 3000 mg of CBD. To help its customers administer the correct dosage of 1ml per day, each is accompanied by a well-marked dropper. Lastly, apart from hemp plant extracts, they also use MCT oil and Natural Oil-based flavouring to enhance effectiveness and rapid absorption.
Besides the products we have outlined, they also offer chocolates which various companies that come after it have emulated from it.
What we like about the company
Being one of the first CBD trademarks to be established, it took a larger responsibility of creating awareness and educating people more about CBD. To achieve its dream of sensitizing people on the value of CBD products, it had to come up with premium products that were used as it went across the country. Besides, the company offers unique products compared to the companies we have reviewed.
What we don’t like about the company
Although the company took a big responsibility of creating awareness and has been in play for a long time, some areas of concern ought to be adjusted to beat the market competition brought by recently established brands. First, although it offers unique products, its line of products is limited and blocks out other customers who would have preferred its trademark. Also, it was unfortunate that the company only offers two ways of reaching its support team; it has not published its physical address and phone number. Lastly, it was also unfortunate to find out that the company doesn’t offer a review page, which becomes difficult for it to assess the performance of its product
Conclusion
According to our review, we didn’t have any problem with the quality of its products since most factors have been well-attended to. However, due to the rising competition, we expected it to perform better since it has been in the play for more than two decades, but still, other brands are better than it. Despite recommending its products, we call upon the company to take the responsibility of ensuring the outlined weaknesses have been well-addressed. It should conduct more research on various products which are rare and use them to its advantage. Lastly, the company should consider offering a review page.
