Egg Substitutes

Egg Substitutes

Seeds (Chia or Flax Seeds)

Ground chia or flax seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 acids and fiber. To make an egg replacement, add 1 tbsp. of ground chia or flax seeds in 3 tbsp. of warm water and leave the mixture for 10 minutes. Like eggs, the mixture can bind the ingredients and add texture to your baked foods.

Butter Milk or Yoghurt

These egg substitutes are binding agents. They also harbor moisture and richness that can transform your recipe or dish. Use ¼ cup yogurt or butter instead of one egg. If you want to retain the flavor, steer clear of flavored or sweetened buttermilk or yogurt.

Aquafaba

Aquafaba can also be used in place of eggs in various recipes including nougat, macaroons, meringues, and marshmallows. You can replace an egg by adding 3 tbsp of aquafaba in any of the aforementioned recipes.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
