EGGS & INDIGESTION TIPS

I strongly advise you to avoid consuming eggs with the following foods as they can trigger indigestion;

Eggs and beans

Both beans and eggs are protein-giving foods. Mixing the two will likely cause indigestion or bloating as beans have more oligosaccharides that are difficult to break down. This makes it harder for the body to digest all the proteins, leading to indigestion.

Eggs and butter

Combining eggs and butter stimulates the secretion of cholecystokinin hormones and esophageal acids that result in stomach gas and indigestion.

Bacon and eggs

This is a high lethargic protein mix that is hard for the body to digest as it’s too heavy for the digestive enzymes.
