FOOD OR DRINK THAT RAISES BLOOD PRESSURE

A healthy diet is a must if you want to manage blood pressure. The following foods and drinks may raise blood pressure;

Fried foods

If you are looking to minimize salt intake and reduce blood pressure, I recommend limiting fried products.  These foods contain excessive salt and saturated fats that spike blood pressure. I recommend baking or grilling. If you must fry, please moderate the salt content.

Coffee

Coffee, energy drinks, and soft beverages contain coffee, which is known for raising blood sugar. I always tell my clients to reduce their intake or work their way into cutting them off completely. Or, go for drinks with low caffeine versions and caffeine-free teas.

Processed foods

If you love fast foods in restaurants and other food outlets, be sure to invite the risk of increased blood pressure and other deadly diseases like heart disease. Such foods are processed, fried, and prepared with high fat oils and salt. It is best to substitute them with plant-based products and other healthier options to prevent the risk of high blood pressure.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
