FOODS TO HELP GET INTO SHAPE FOR BEGINNERS

Beginners in fitness may consider the following foods;

Chicken

Regular exercise requires more protein intake, especially after exercise. It is vital for making blood cells and muscle repair. Therefore, load leaner turkey or chicken in your meals rather than snacks, such as potato chips.

Vegetables

Exercising regularly may make you overcalculate the amount of burnt calories. Working out on the treadmill for an hour may burn more than500 calories but with less intensity, only around 300 may be burnt. It may feel enough but do not spoil the energy by snacking with fatty and processed snacks. Why not eat fruits and veggies. Also, add proteins to your meal to help stay full for longer, such as Greek yogurt with humus and vegetables.

Whole grain

Most whole grains are purely healthy carbs that supply energy in the body for proper working out. Eat them one hour before your workout to allow for digestion. You can have a whole grain cereal bowl with some skim milk.

I believe that nutrition science is a wonderful helper both for the preventive improvement of health and adjunctive therapy in treatment. My goal is to help people improve their health and well-being without torturing themselves with unnecessary dietary restrictions. I am a supporter of a healthy lifestyle – I play sports, cycle, and swim in the lake all year round. With my work, I have been featured in Vice, Country Living, Harrods magazine, Daily Telegraph, Grazia, Women's Health, and other media outlets.
