Here are my best summer salad recipes that promote heart health;

Avocado, blueberries, kale and Edamame salad

Enjoy the summer with this tasty and nutritious salad made of fresh fruits and veggies.


One diced avocado

1 teaspoon honey

½ teaspoon salt

3 spoons of lemon juice

½ cup of olive oil

I spoon of crumbled chives

A cup of blueberries

A cup of cooked edamame

6 cups of stemmed and slice cut kale

½ cup containing mashed goat cheese

½ a cup of toasted almonds


Pour the kale in a bowl, add the blueberries, edamame, avocado, edamame and cheese. Place the honey, chives, almonds, olive oil, salt and lemon juice in ajar and shake it. sprinkle and mix the vinaigrette in the bowl containing the salad.

Fresh Tasty Corn Salad

4 husked or fresh whole corn

1 tablespoon of olive oil

I cup of bell pepper

½ teaspoon of sodium

2 tablespoons of fresh and cut basil

A cup of sliced onion


Prepare 2 cups of corn kennels, boil the olive and add the sliced onions, orange bell pepper, corn. Let it cook as you stir for 5 minutes the flavor it with the pepper and sodium. Layer the salad with basil before serving when warm.
