Hentai is something which everyone comes across at some point in their lives, even if it is only with a glancing look as it appears in an advert on a website. Many people may not know what Hentai actually is, but its not really a complicated concept. Translations from Japanese generally come to the same conclusion, its porn, however it is porn which has been drawn in the same style as most Animes (Japanese animations). This has both Pros and Cons, and in my mind it comes off as pretty even.
I would say lets start with the Pros then move onto the Cons however, I think actually they are interchangeable depending on who is reading them. So I think it best to simply list them and allow you to decide if it is a pro or a con in your mind (and don’t hesitate to tell us).
Firstly, it is a drawn porn, its not exactly real people. Although the sounds that go with it are obviously made in a studio, generally from professionals who know what they are doing. For some people the lack of reality is part of the reason to watch, for others its what is a turn off. It is a storyline based porn, through the ones I have watched, which may or may not be enjoyable for you. For many it builds up at least some form of sexual aspect which adds to the entire climax. Coupled with this fact, it has an almost constant dialog, sometimes part of the story, sometimes just sexual noises and talking.
It can be very graphic, with plenty of detail given to the body. Alternatively it can be rather basic which in some cases, personally, makes the whole thing rather pointless, as the drawing in this sense is really rather important. Hentai can also be rather fetish and fantasy based. Drawing on what people want to see and hear rather than anything which may be physically possible in a normal sexual situation.
Also in some cases Hentai is taken straight from an Anime as an almost hidden scene. So for some people this makes no sense, for others it takes characters from their favourite Animes and makes it a lot sexier. It aims in this way to simply enhance the program which people enjoy watching, give it an adult theme but it is then only shown on specific sites rather than in relation to the normal show.
Well, thats Hentai in a nutshell. Personally I do not find it a turn on, but I know many people who really like it. Its definitely a preference thing, maybe its a marmite thing, you love it or you hate it. For me its more indifference, but I know just how pleasurable people can find it and if it is what works for them then it really should be respected.
