In my opinion, Dirty shower heads increase the risk of skin infections or can worsen certain skin conditions. Failure to cleanse your showerheads regularly can lead to the growth of bacteria and fungi, especially for those using shared showers. Some bacteria and fungi infections from dirty shower heads can lead to MRSA, skin abscesses, or even athletes’ feet on the skin. The organism and dirt accumulated on the showerhead can make the skin susceptible to acne, rosacea, redness, itchiness, or unexplained rashes.
