HOW TO EAT IN A HEATWAVE

If you want the best during a heatwave, I recommend eating runny meals, including curries, soups, and stews. Others include, vegetables, fruits, and greens, for example, water melons that are water-rich and contain citrulline compound that dilates your blood vessels, keeping your blood pressure on point. Spinach has good water content and delivers minerals and vitamins when consumed. I also like having most of my meals with chilli peppers and mint during summer because they bring a cooling effect. Hydrating more by drinking lots of fresh water and unsweetened fluids helps achieve a cool body temperature. Furthermore, you can add coconut milk to your curries and soups for increased taste and good cholesterol. But I always discourage meats, fried foods, ice scream, and soy. They may cause indigestion and excess heat generation in the body.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
