BEDROOM STRESS-FREE

HOW TO KEEP YOUR BEDROOM STRESS-FREE

I recommend the following tips to create a stress-free bedroom;

Tidy up and organize your bedroom

Cleaning up the walls, bed, beddings, floor, decluttering and arranging all things perfectly can lower stress that comes from dirty and or unorganized rooms. Clean spaces make you feel more relaxed, in control of the room and make you appreciate it.

Paint your bedroom walls blue

The blue color is linked to a higher relaxing, soothing and calming result. Researches, show the link between a decreased blood pressure, and heart rate attributed to the soothing effects of blue hues on the autonomic nervous system. Having blue beddings can also induce similar effects.

Adopt feng shui techniques

Feng shui entails positioning the bed, and other properties in the bedroom to create a greater sense of connection and calm between and individual’s spiritual being and their surroundings.

Use scented candles or oils in the room

Introducing scented candles and oils can lower stress and increase relaxation moods due to their aromatherapy benefits.

Opt for soft or dim lights

Soft lighting in the bedroom can help you relax. Ambient lights provide a gentle glow and promote sound sleep.

Things in your bedroom causing stress

Here are some common things that tend to cause bedroom stress, untidy rooms, unmade beddings, unorganized rooms, clutter objects, electronic devices such as TVs, phones or laptops, work stuff and eating junk food late at night.
