HOW TO LOOK YOUNGER

How to look younger – how to care for your skin, how to get rid of eye bags, how to get rid of wrinkles, how to smoothen skin and get a youthful complexion.

Use beauty products with the right ingredients

Which ingredients do you prefer in a skincare product? I always tell my clients to look for three major ingredients, including retinoid, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. Retinoids are great for promoting collagen production and cell turnover, which contributes to new skin formation that leaves your skin looking brighter. Vitamin C contains antioxidants that protect the skin against free radicals, whereas Hyaluronic acid increases skin hydration by reducing moisture evaporation from the body. Such ingredients are the best if you want a soft and younger complexion.

Always wear sunscreen

How often do you apply sunscreen? Summers only? Well, for a youthful skin tone, you need sunscreen, regardless of the season. I recommend an SPF ranging between 30 and 50 to protect your face skin from the effects of UV rays exposure, which cause wrinkles and fine lines. Buy sunscreens containing moisturizers and vitamins for more skin health benefits.

Stay hydrated

The body becomes less functional when dehydrated, and do not be surprised that it can lead to eye bags. Drinking pure water is great for hydrating your skin, making it appear plump and young. If you dislike water, my clients already know that other fluids can help achieve what is best for your body, including sparkling and flavored water, whether hot, cold, or incorporated in smoothies and fruits.

Cold compression

Under eye bags can disappear through application of a cold compress. You can use frozen veggies or chilled teaspoon and wrap with a soft cloth before pressing on the area to constrict the blood vessels temporarily.
