HOW TO STAY CALM/MANAGE STRESS AT CHRISTMAS

HOW TO STAY CALM/MANAGE STRESS AT CHRISTMAS

Here is my advise;

Eat healthy

Are you eating right to manage your stress levels? Well, maybe that food is up to your taste, but is it helpful during this Christmas pressure? I always tell my clients to avoid excessive alcohol intake, coffee, and hot pepper. These foods and drinks possibly stimulate the nervous system resulting in improper liver function. It could cause sleep disturbances and raise the cortisol hormone that triggers stress.

Do not neglect exercise

I always emphasize to my clients about the need of regular exercise, no matter the circumstance of life events. Exercise boosts endorphins for elevated happiness and relaxation, thus reducing stress.

Release it easily

Always be keen to identify your stressors. Is it your husband cheating? Or, perhaps your boss is not offering enough holiday period as usual? Well, learn to ‘let it go’. Always deal mainly with the things you can control. If not, let them be and keep your peace, rather than react negatively and spoil the holiday mood.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
