His clients often asked him to manage the content as well, so he started teaching himself about content marketing to combine both themes as a professional service. This new business field caught up to him deeply. He joined another start-up as a freelancer in web development and focussed completely on SEO and content. Think big.

If your dreams are too small, you stay small. Set yourself big goals you want to reach and go for it. Furthermore, always question yourself whether what you are doing is appropriate for these goals. This helps especially at the point of handing over work. 

Be passionate.

As a founder, you will need to work hard. To be clear, between 60-80 hours a week will be the average, and there will be 100+ hour weeks. You will be the first at work and the last who finishes. Therefore, you have to be really passionate and convinced about what you do. If this is you, don’t let anyone stop you. 

Focus on the value.

Countless founders are just thinking about the money they can make. But this is the wrong way of starting a business. The purpose of companies is to improve other people’s lives and add value to them. Only this way you can succeed in online business.
