HYPNOTIC GASTRIC BANDS

Explain how gastric band hypnosis works

Gastric band hypnosis happens in two approaches;

The first

A hypnotherapist begins by seeking to know your emotional food triggers. By this, I mean the unhealthy patterns an individual uses to cope with emotions, such as, stress. Are you gaining weight because you eat excessively when stressed or bored? Or maybe, you are just the type that eats more to reward your life achievements? You will be reminded some of the long-forgotten food experiences that affect you subconsciously. You will also learn about your behaviors, patterns, and responses that affect your weight without you realizing the relationship.

The second

The hypnotherapist will proceed to the virtual gastric band, subconsciously suggesting that you had a surgery to plant the gastric band in your upper stomach. Doing this helps the body feel satisfied faster, similar to what happens with an actual operation. It aims to help change your lifestyle for the better, more so after recognizing your triggers and the subconscious of feeling fuller will limited food intake, which helps lose weight.

I believe that nutrition science is a wonderful helper both for the preventive improvement of health and adjunctive therapy in treatment. My goal is to help people improve their health and well-being without torturing themselves with unnecessary dietary restrictions. I am a supporter of a healthy lifestyle – I play sports, cycle, and swim in the lake all year round. With my work, I have been featured in Vice, Country Living, Harrods magazine, Daily Telegraph, Grazia, Women's Health, and other media outlets.

Ieva Kubiliute is a psychologist and a sex and relationships advisor and a freelance writer. She's also a consultant to several health and wellness brands. While Ieva specialises in covering wellness topics ranging from fitness and nutrition, to mental wellbeing, sex and relationships and health conditions, she has written across a diverse range of lifestyle topics, including beauty and travel. Career highlights so far include: luxury spa-hopping in Spain and joining an £18k-a-year London gym. Someone’s got to do it! When she’s not typing away at her desk—or interviewing experts and case studies, Ieva winds down with yoga, a good movie and great skincare (affordable of course, there’s little she doesn’t know about budget beauty). Things that bring her endless joy: digital detoxes, oat milk lattes and long country walks (and sometimes jogs).

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
