INGREDIENT TO AVOID IN HAIR PRODUCTS

I highly advise you to keep of these hair products ingredients as they speed up the aging process;

Parabens

Parabens are common hair product ingredients mainly used as preservation methods. However, they negatively impact your hair condition as they interrupt hormone balancing and trigger conditions such as acne, hair thinning, and cancer disease. Avoid hair products with benzyl paraben or propylparaben ingredients on the labels.

Retinyl Palmitate

Retinyl palmitate is gentler retinol version but is usually found in high concentrations in most hair products. Frequent use of products with this ingredient can trigger aging symptoms as it causes skin peeling, irritation, burning, dryness, and scaling. Avoid any beauty product that indicates retinyl palmitate on the labels.

Dimethicone

It’s widely used to soften the hair, especially when smoothening or curling it. On the contrary, dimethicone can cause hair thinning, dryness, scalp infections, or build-up of toxic substances on the scalp hindering the circulation of moisture, blood, and nutrients. This pore-clogging contributes to dull hair and aging.
