MENOPAUSE SKINCARE

MENOPAUSE SKINCARE

During menopause, women tend to have hormonal fluctuations that cause acne around the jawline and chin. Some women may experience them as whiteheads or pink bumps. But the solution is simple. You only require to frequently rinse your face and apply a thick moisturizer containing emollients and humectants. If you do this twice every day, be sure to kill skin hydration and remain with a plump and soft complexion. Wearing a sunscreen always also protects the skin from the harmful sun’s rays that cause dryness and dullness. I advise my clients to use skincare regimes with the best ingredients for aging skin. For example, they require one that boosts collagen production and skin elasticity. I always recommend retinol, which triggers collagen release and promotes skin cell turnover. Hyaluronic acid is also great for making a strong skin barrier that retains fluids in the skin. I have recommended some products to my clients and they already gave positive feedback a few weeks in to using them, for example, Pause well aging detox serum for acne elimination and Empelle night cream for dry skin.
