MOBILITY

What mobility training is, and how it can benefit your other workouts

Mobility training involves exercises meant to improve the body’s range of motion by stabilizing the muscles around joints. For instance, it includes workouts that touch flexibility, strength, and pliability. While they are great for voiding injuries, I recommend gradually training different body parts, one by one, rather than a full body at once.

Benefits

Mobility exercises can be significant in warm-up sessions before compound workouts, including burpees and deadlifts. Learning mobility exercises can help improve strength training workouts and ease your daily duties. Furthermore, they can prevent injuries and improve your range of motion, which help execute other workouts as expected. Other benefits include;

  • Building stronger muscles and joints
  • Improving posture
  • Decreasing joint deterioration
  • Promoting all-round fitness
