Cardiff’s Tiger Tiger, a popular night club, has applied for a sex establishment license so that it can host performances by the famous Dream boys – an all-male stripper and dance group.
They twirl fire batons, they dance well-choreographed numbers and sets, they put on Broadway-worthy productions and best of all: the Dreamboys strip down for the best Girls’ Night Out entertainment there is.
Tiger Tiger has applied for the license to host the Dreamboys Strip Group on Saturday nights between 6.30 and 9.30pm. The Dreamboys website reports that “Over the past few years Cardiff has grown into one fantastic City that likes to play hard and party harder,” so it’s no wonder that they’re headed there for a weekend break that’s well worth the visit.
A public notice was issued in tandem with the application: any objections to the application for the license will be heard and noted, and must be made in writing to the Cardiff council. The deadline for objections is the 23rd of August, after which Tiger Tiger will know whether it is about to become the hottest nightclub in Cardiff.
Tiger Tiger said in statement that, “The Dreamboys have been featured on the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, as well as the Paul O’Grady show. The evenings will also feature a celebrity drag queen.” The Dreamboys celebrity factor will give the nightclub an added edge over its local competitors, and may draw in some unusual crowds who have yet to frequent the popular location thanks to its new entertainment line-up.
In addition, Tiger Tiger added that they expect no full nudity (do socks count?) and that the Dreamboys will feature in pre-paid Hen Party celebrations which the city is known for. For now, they say, “we will not be using the license for any other entertainment purpose.” We hope they change their minds.
