PROTEIN

PROTEIN

I support the research as consumption of high plant proteins diets can significantly increase muscle mass or volume and lower the risk of frailty in the elderly.

Why does plant protein benefit the body and lower the risk of frailty/make muscles stronger?

Plant protein has fewer amino acid concentrations that aid in combating oxidative stress inhibiting loss of body muscles by enhancing protein synthesis. The plant-based proteins have more effective amino acids that support muscle development and improve the functioning of other proteins in the body.

What is the difference between plant protein and animal or dairy protein?

The main difference between these two proteins is their concentration. Animal-based proteins have more amino acids and other essential proteins than plant-based proteins, which have lesser essential amino acids but a better calorie-nutrient ratio and additional fiber nutrients.
