SELF-LOVE

I am sorry about your habit, and to help you, I would not say there is a specific way of dealing with this issue. First, I wish to understand your eating environment. Perhaps the people around or your house generally makes you too angry to feel hungry. Well, it hurts but I recommend self-prioritization. Pamper yourself and find what makes you happy. Rethink your life, including how lack of eating can weaken your health, and determine the real purpose of being alive. Live a purposeful life, relax yourself, and you will notice your value. Consequently, any depressive symptoms, irritants, and fake facts about your life will subside, returning your usual routine, including loving food.

I once experienced zero appetite for some time. A thought on some foods only led to throwing up and I hated it. But I have a few tips that helped me. I share them with my clients and they also find them helpful. For example;

  • Avoid eating alone; invite a friend or friends for lunch or dinner.
  • If you find a certain food more appealing, go with it- it could be a food you ate during a fun moment or memorable day.
  • Talk to yourself about the best food, such as, what fills your body with valuable nutrients, then cook it yourself. Be sure you will not easily let it go to waste.
  • I love exercising because it expends a lot of energy and increases my appetite, especially after developing muscles that increase the metabolic rate, leaving me hungry.
  • If all the above backfire, start eating dutifully- make it a duty that has to be finished.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
