If you don’t have enough hours in the day for an exercise routine and sex, then don’t despair: it turns out that having sex regularly can help you shed those extra pounds. That’s what the world’s fattest woman Pauline Potter, 47, recently discovered.
Pauline weighed in at a whopping 52 stone in September of last year. She put on 20 stone in three years by binge eating on turkey dinners, pizza and guzzling down snacks after a bad break-up with her husband. The average recommended calorie intake for an adult woman is around 2,000 calories, and Pauline was guzzling down around 10,000 calories. However, unlike other over-eaters of her size going for gold as the world’s fattest woman, Pauline was determined to cut back and lose some weight so that she could live to see her son grow up and get married.
The logical solution? Sex, of course. Pauline has lost seven stone thanks to regular bouts in bed with her reunited ex-husband. When she won the Guinness World Record for heaviest woman, her ex-husband couldn’t resist her and he came back. The sex is better than ever, and even though he needs to be on top, that doesn’t stop the couple from going at up to seven times a day.
Alex, her “small” lover at only ten stone, said, “It’s hard to position her and find her pleasure spots as she has a lot of fat in the pelvic area. But it turns me on knowing she’s satisfied. Although once, when she got on top, I couldn’t breathe.”
Despite the obvious setbacks like trying to the find the positions, and trying not to break the bed or other furniture, Pauline and Alex are loving their sex lives. She said, “I can’t move much in bed, but I burn 500 calories a session – it’s great exercise just jiggling around.”
