Right, this article is about putting aside space for all your sexual and BDSM needs. The idea behind it is to make it so that certain aspects of BDSM can be locked behind a closed door, but definitely a door you can open whenever you like. By this I seriously mean a dungeon. Its something so many stores cater for but I don’t think many people satisfy the need. Trust me if I had a big enough place I would have one. In fact I’ve already planned it, I just need the funds to execute the plan.
On the other hand, you don’t have to go big and expensive. Taste is everything, my personal ideal dungeon would be a good size room, with a bed with a wrought iron bed frame. This would be perfect for being tied to, since I would have a large collection of ropes on display as well. I think thats part of the fun, displaying everything that you use for sex. Personally I wouldn’t want it displayed in my bedroom, currently everything is stored under the bed. I think dungeons are a brilliant way to show yourself off but only to the people you let in there. The downside of setting aside a room specifically for a dungeon is that you have to buy all new furniture for it, both normal and sexual.
However I know a few people who like their bedroom to be dungeon-like. With things on display, in cabinets, hanging in the wardrobe and in their normal chest of drawers. Since not everyone can afford a room to put aside to develop their dungeon in I think its only fair to start in a room you feel comfortable building a dungeon in. The aim, for me at least, is to have everything in one area, as it stands things get left all over the place, living room, bathroom, bedroom floor. With a dungeon I could keep things messy but at least it would all be in one room!
Although I said it was a downside, furnishing a dungeon is also an upside. I mean, imagine the fun you can have styling that room, making everything perfect for yourself and your partner. It would be heaven for so many people, its fun enough to design a room layout but throwing sex in too just makes it perfect.
