Earlier, women were not allowed to wear trousers and shorts for different reasons. But they later did for practical purposes. Later, short skirts and dresses were predominantly adopted for more convenience in playing tennis. The gear is comfortable, upbeat, and more fun. It also contains a combination of both athleticism and leisure. As a result, many other sports predominantly adopted the trend, making tennis a fashion statement.

 -Benefits of playing racket sports

  • Help improve upper body strength when swinging the racket and lower body strength through lateral motion.
  • Running from point to point reduces the risk of chronic diseases, such as, stroke and type 2 diabetes.
  • Helps improve balance, agility, and coordination.

Racket games and sport have various similarities. For example, both are forms of physical activity. Racket games have alternate bursts of high exercise intensity through running from one area to another. On the other hand, fitness activities like HIIT or Zumba may interval training through stop and start exercises. Both activities are also great at improving fitness and health goals.

Tennis is more popular because of its rich history and many interested countries worldwide. It has had star players, including Serena Williams and Federer with a lot of viewership, unlike other sports.
