HEALTH BENEFITS OF CRYING

THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF CRYING

Crying is therapeutic, and it comes with numerous benefits, including;

It can let out pain

Did you know that shedding tears is accompanied by release of happy hormones? Well, it causes endorphins and oxytocin release, which heighten an individual’s spirits by easing emotional and physical pain. I always tell my clients to cry when they have to; it helps lessen pain.

Enhances sleep

A 2015 study indicates that crying can elevate a baby’s sleep. It could be because of its pain-relieving and mood-uplifting properties that help sleep better. But the effect is not yet confirmed for adults.

Flushes out toxins and relieves stress

Tears are loaded with various compounds, including chemicals and hormones. Research suggests that letting out tears helps release stress hormones and other toxins, which calms and relaxes the body.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
