From my experiences, the following tips can help you maintain a healthy body as you enjoy you holidays abroad;
Ensure you get vaccinated for diseases such as Hepatitis A and B, cholera, malaria, typhoid, traveler’s diarrhea, Covid-19 and fever.
Check on what you drink or eat to avoid cases of food poisoning and other food related illnesses.
Wear protective clothes, apply repellants, use cools or mosquito nets and avoid any contact with mosquitos in all means to avoid malaria risks.
When getting exposed to harmful UV rays, I recommend you apply sunscreen, wear protective clothes such as long sleeves, hats, sunglasses, light-loose fitting attires and limit the time spent in the sun.
Stay hydrated and drink purified water only.
Carry adequate medications for those taking prescribed drugs.
Know in advance the emergency numbers from insurance, health facilities to other services that might come in hand.
