What is CBD oil

Johnson (2019) stated that CBD oil is a compound found in the cannabis or hemp plant. They are found in three forms; CBD isolates, full-spectrum CBD, and Broad-spectrum CBD. CBD isolate is known to be pure as it does not have the presence of the psychoactive component that is THC and is free from all the other components of the cannabis plant. Broad-spectrum and full-spectrum CBD have some amounts of THC in them but are not great to cause one to be high.

CBD Topical And Rosacea

The symptoms of this skin condition are Acne but in red color. They are not only found on the forehead but also on the nose and chin. The pimples may look small, but they cause irritation, and you will likely have watery eyes. This condition is different from the experience of another, so one cannot depend on the symptoms given by the others to treat theirs. This means that the care given to the other should not be the same as you, as it is a personal thing or condition. The downside of that condition is that it cannot be treated. However, a person can still manage to treat it. The anti-inflammatory properties of CBD oil come in great handy in such situations. According to Patil et al. (2020), CBD oil interacts with the endocannabinoid receptors by regulating the body’s functions and minimizing inflammation. The study above also noted that CBD also assists in minimizing the pain that is associated with inflammation.

CBD Oil  and Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic condition that is related to the immune system. It is mostly caused by the overactive cells that produce several cells, causing skin cells to grow in rapid motion. It is all about the body’s hormones not being balanced. This may bring about the kin being scaly red and painful patches. It may be difficult to treat this condition, but a person can manage and control its pain. According to Oláh et al. (2017), CBD oil interacts with the cannabinoid receptors, which send signals to the immune system, affecting it. While they interact with the immune system, the CBD anti-inflammatory system comes into place and helps deal with the cells causing psoriasis. Shukla et al. (2015) noted that  CBD oil would help shed the affected skin and produce new skin cells to replace the dead skin. According to Ca (2018), CBD  helps prevent dehydration and is also responsible for nourishing and moisturizing the skin. Allergies and stress cause psoriasis. Shannon & Opila-Lehman (2016) revealed that CBD oil helps in relieving stress and calms the body and mind through its soothing effects.

CBD Oil and Acne

Acne naturally occurs when the dead cells of the skin mix with the follicle hair; blocking the pores may be caused by the overactive sebaceous glands that produce too much oi. The oil is supposed to lubricate the skin, but when it is too much, it may block the remaining pores and the duct from producing too much oil. The skin may become dehydrated and have some breakouts when it lacks oil.

It may also be caused by the skin shedding off abnormally. The epidermis helps shed the dead skin and replace it with new ones. Those with acne shed more skin compared to those with normal skin. They may reproduce more skin before the skin sheds off. This may cause the dead skin to get trapped in the hair follicles and, at times, reduce the extra skin production.

According to Nasri et al. (2015), CBD oil helps remove acne and the scar or spots left on the skin when the Acne has already been treated. The study above also suggested that the pain associated with Acne is dealt with when one applies CBD oil to the skin. This is done through the anti-inflammatory properties by blocking the harmful agents from destroying the healthy cells. This reduces the risk of an individual getting acne. It also helps in soothing the skin so the irritation cannot be felt, and the breakouts become less painful and look small.

According to Atalay et al. (2021), The antioxidant properties of CBD also assist in keeping away harmful substances from damaging the skin. The free radicals are prevented from contacting the healthy cells, reducing the risk of getting Acne.

Conclusion

A person should always consult a health practitioner before applying the CBD topical. This is especially to those that are wary of getting skin conditions. Avoid using CBD oil on open wounds and cuts as it may react on the skin and cause irritation. CBD oil not only nourishes the skin but also moisturizes it. Curb dry skin which may crack with CBD oil. There are instances that which CBD oil may fail to treat the conditions. However, in such cases, CBD oil helps manage and control pain. There are no doubts about CBD oil with all the benefits surrounding it. Other conditions like anxiety and stress can be treated with CBD oil.
