WHAT ARE THE BEST WAYS OF MANAGING A NEW CLIENT’S EXPECTATIONS OF PERSONAL TRAINING?

Give less promises but deliver more

If you overpromise and fail to deliver, a client may lose trust in your service. But the opposite will make them delighted and willing to continue working with you. Cushion the budget and time. Giving results quicklier than expected will impress the client, unlike excessive promises getting delivered late. It will make them unhappy.

Talk about your service process

Before engaging in anything, ensure to involve your client by communicating. If you will have another team to work with them, introduce that team. Discuss the process involved and ensure they get confident in you from the start. Also, ensure they familiarize with the benefits people that work with you usually acquire.

Communicate effectively and create a rapport

Are you the kind that waits for your client to call first? If so, then you are losing it. They may feel like it is them chasing you. It is best to give timely updates by communicating proactively. Never delay or suspend your project’s details and create a rapport with them. This will make the reluctant to leave.

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
