MULLED CIDER

WHAT IS MULLED CIDER?

What is mulled cider?

Mulled cider is among my most favorite winter drinks. As its name suggests, mulling entails sweetening, spicing, and heating. Therefore, it is a sweet cider type containing citrus fruit and other spices made through heating. To prepare it, simmer the apple cider with cloves, cinnamon, oranges, and cranberries under low temperatures. Mulling changes the cider with fruits and spices changes it from being a cold beverage to a warn one. Some people choose to incorporate alcohol for holiday celebrations, especially during the mulled cider national holiday, 30th September.
