WHAT VERSION OF SEX IS SEXUAL WELLNESS SELLING?

What problem are you trying to solve in terms of how people have sex today?

Loss of emotional intimacy

What is your vision for how people will be having sex a few years down the line?

In my opinion, lack of emotion may possibly cause absence of sex- if sex happens, then it may fail to be pleasurable, thus denying people what they thirst for. As a result, most romantic partners may have unsustainable relationships due to lack of feeling loved or supported.

How are you working toward that vision?

I am advocating for creation of counselling centers to give free therapy sessions to romantic partners possibly facing this issue. I am also working with other counsellors who can handle physical intimacy problems to save any affected individuals. Currently, I am using my clients to pass the word to various parts of the nation about this upcoming project that will help in survival of most romantic relationships.

What do you see changing in terms of how people view and have sex?

People in relationships will soon understand that for there to be physical attraction, emotional attraction is important. Through mass education and counseling in matters relationship, people will come to understand how to seek intimacy. Therapy sessions will help teach couples how to build communication and solve conflicts. Again, they will learn how to challenge intimacy fears that may be stopping them from elevating their love for each other.

How have current political events shaped the work that you do?

I mostly get a chance to plan team building activities in various organizations, especially on couples’ holidays, including January 26th where we celebrate National Spouses Day or National Cuddle Up Day. This way, I get a platform of educating partners on how to enhance emotional intimacy and its significance for better sex in relationships.
