Why Dinner Should Be At 5 Pm and Smaller Than Breakfast

You should have dinner approximately 5 hours after lunch. That falls between 5 pm and 6 pm. Eating dinner early before going to bed is good for your health because;

  • It helps with weight loss
  • It boosts your mood and energy levels
  • Improves digestive health. Food is not properly digested when sleeping. It causes problems such as acid reflux and abdominal problems.
  • Improves sleep quality
  • Improves heart health because more calories are burned off when you eat early.

Additionally, dinner should be your lightest meal. Remember, your body is less active at night than during the day and it therefore requires less energy. Eating a heavy dinner overworks your digestive tract, which may lead to various digestive problems. Moreover, eating a smaller dinner helps you burn more calories and prevent weight gain.
