In my opinion, the four quarters method can aid increase productivity and mental health due to the following reasons;
The method entails dividing your day into four parts, making it easy to plan and organize your day. Planning is key when looking to increase productivity. You can easily split up a time to conduct specific activities. Doing tasks in intervals helps increase focus and commitment as you try to start and accomplish them in the given duration. Enhances rest time which is good for both the body ad brain when looking to boost productivity.
The four-quarters method allows individuals to reset or clear the idea of having a bad day at work or home, especially when something bad happens. You don’t need waste the following hours and wait for the next day to recover, you get a chance to restart your day within hours, which helps you void destructive behavior and keeps you on the trail of your daily goals.
It can boost mental health as you can easily track the good things you deed in the day and help accomplish set goals, which induces happy feelings. With each fresh start, you prevent mental burnout, avoid negative emotions, and have time to correct the mistakes that you did in the earlier hours, which is ideal for self-motivation. You can easily forget morning mishaps that make you feel down and gloomy throughout the day as you start new tasks or activities in each quarter, creating more happiness sources that keep you going.
