Woman with Erotic Obsession with Food eats Bakery Treats during Sex

Everyone has their kinks, but some are admittedly stranger than others. Sammee Matthews, a mum of two from Las Vegas, has been diagnosed with sitophilia: an erotic obsession with food. Everyone who enjoys (or suffers from, depending on how you look at it!) sitophilia has a different turn-on. For Sammee, it’s all about cakes, pastries and sweets.

The 28-stone Sammee has been scoffing pastries that make her weak at the knees, and has even been known to eat doughnuts during sex. She also admitted that the sight of a bakery alone is enough to leave her out of breath.

This particular erotic obsession has a seriously negative impact on Sammee’s weight; she has previously topped the scales at 32-stone, and continues to fuel her erotic desires with cakes, pastries and tarts.

Not everyone has a life-threatening experience with sitophilia. It might sound bizarre as a way to get your rocks off, but sitophilia manifests itself in different ways and you might be familiar with the more ‘domestic’ versions.

For some, such as Sammee, actually eating the food or seeing it is required to enhance erotic experiences and encounters. Like an aphrodisiac, food enhances our sexual pleasure. How many times have you introduced chocolate-covered strawberries into the bedroom, or shucked oysters before a long night in?

Or perhaps you’re more familiar with the body shot: when a shot of alcohol is licked off the body, usually from a teasingly erogenous zone like the bellybutton or breasts. Certain varieties of food and drink tantalise our tastebuds, and our actions can tease our imagination in a way that makes lovemaking better.

For others, the food represents the object of desire and becomes a vehicle for masturbation. This is a little more unusual – but there’s plenty of it around. In the film American Pie, one character has sex with a warm apple pie. In Philip Roth’s 1969 novel Portnoy’s Complaint, the protagonist masturbates using a liver steak, and a cored-out apple.

Think it’s too weird? What about the many guides out there advising women to masturbate using household objects like vegetables from the kitchen? Cucumbers, zucchinis, carrots and bananas have long been praised for their phallic shapes and possible double use.

Nutrition plays an important role in human life. Eating habits are one of the factors that affect our health. There is often a misconception among people that nutritionists force a very restrictive diet, but that is not true. In fact, I don't ban any products, but I point out dietary mistakes and help change them by giving tips and new recipes that I've tried myself. I advise my patients not to resist change and to be purposeful. Only with willpower and determination can a good result be achieved in any area of life, including changing eating habits. When I don't work, I love to go climbing. On a Friday evening, you are most likely to find me on my couch, cuddling with my dog and watching some Netflix.
