My Best Friend Fancies My Husband

My Best Friend Fancies My Husband

Dear Martina

I’m pretty sure my best friend fancies my husband. She’s always flirting with him and I’m worried it’s going a little too far. She’s the opposite of me, tall and blond whereas I’m little and brunette. She’s also always telling me how lucky I am and defending him whenever I try to have a little moan. I feel like it’s coming between us and I have nightmares about him leaving me for her.

Dear Royally Screwed

You’ve got a problem here. Either, a) you don’t trust your husband; b) you don’t trust your best friend or c) a bit of both. If this were me I’d quite simply find a new best friend. What good is she anyway if you can’t even moan about your bloke to her? Isn’t that what friends are for? Dump her and move away, make a fresh start and next time only choose friends that are ugly, thick or geriatric.

Just so I don’t get into trouble you may also want to examine your self-esteem issues as well as the reason you’ve lost trust in your husband, but still- get rid of the flirt!
