BODY CONFIDENCE TIPS FOR OVER 50S

BODY CONFIDENCE TIPS FOR OVER 50S

Learn a new thing

Developing new goals is a sign that you can still learn new skills and projects. This way, you get the urge to engage. Learning something new, such as language or playing an instrument, can help discover talents you may never have realized. It brings satisfaction knowing that the skill is worth.

Maintain social connection

While it is hard to acquire new friends as we grow older, staying socially connected can improve your mental wellness. Healthy social connections can lower depression and anxiety. I recommend joining local clubs or volunteer activities to increase chances of meeting new people and making friends. Social connections help produce oxytocin hormone for bonding and feeling great.

Get support

Some changes may feel impossible by yourself, especially concerning self-esteem matters. Perhaps you are overwhelmed by anxiety arising from low self-esteem, why not seek for help? I advise my clients to see a specialist for guidance on a more positive action. Undoubtedly, ageing should not drain you. Instead, each moment should be lived graciously and mindfully.
