Guide To Erection Enhancers

Guide To Erection Enhancers

Erectile dysfunction can affect men of all ages. This disorder harms the quality and sexual life. Some ways can be used to help with this situation and bring back the strength to improve your performance in bed.

Erectile dysfunction is a disorder where a man cannot erect or maintain an erection, making it difficult for penetrative sex. Sometimes it isn’t easy to penetrate, affecting the confidence and the relationship. Psychological and physical causes cause erectile dysfunction. The common cause is a reduction in blood flow to the penis. This will, in turn, weaken the pelvic flow muscles. Below are the best types of medication that will help you handle the situation.

Sildenafil

This is the most common medication recommended to treat erectile dysfunction. These PDE5 inhibitors are also known as Viagra. You can find it in the form of tablets from 25 to 100 milligrams. Usually, it’s taken half an hour before sexual stimulation. Its effectiveness takes only four to five hours. However, Viagra cannot give you a permanent solution. Even though Viagra is not addictive, some risks are associated with taking it. Below are highlighted side effects that you might experience after taking Sildenafil.

Ringing ears or loss of hearing

Headache

Dizziness

Pain in the stomach and nausea

Diarrhea

Redness or warmth in the chest, face, and neck

Pain in the back

Congested nose

Problems associated with memory

Color blindness.

Tadalafil (Cialis or Adcirca)

Cialis is a drug used to treat PDE5, and it works by increasing the flow of blood in the penis to enhance erection. It increases the effectiveness of natural chemicals, nitric acid, in the body, produced by blood vessels that helps in the relaxation and dilation of arteries in the penis. Relaxation and dilation allow sufficient blood to enter the penis’ arteries.

The Tadalafil chemical structure is quite different from that of Sildenafil, so its effectiveness can take up to 2 hours before reaching the maximum. However, its effect can last longer, up to 36 hours. When taken as prescribed, the dosage is 5 to 20 milligrams orally before engaging in sexual activities.  However, some men prefer taking Cialis daily. The Cialis prescription is 2.5 milligrams once a day, and the time should be the same. After some time, the patient can adjust to a constant dosage of 2.5 and 5 milligrams daily. Tadalafil is safe, but there are some side effects that you might experience after taking it. Below are the expected side effects:

Headache

Stomach upset

Running or stuffy nose

Back pain

Flushing

Painful limbs

Tadalafil also comes in the form of Adcirca to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Vardenafil (Levitra and Staxyn)

Vardenafil drug is taken orally, and one should take it 60 minutes before having sexual intercourse. Take the drug once daily or as recommended by the doctor. In most cases, patients start by taking 10 milligrams per day. Besides, this oral medication dosage is 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg. After taking this drug, you will experience the following symptoms:

Stomach upset

Dizziness and

Headache

Like all the other drugs that inhibit erectile dysfunction, Vardenafil is taken with different drugs.  However, Vardenafil is not given to patients using potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir or ketoconazole.

Avanafil (Stendra)

The maximum concentration of this drug can reach up to 30 to 45 minutes. This PDE5i oral drug is taken 30 minutes before intercourse, and its effectiveness takes 6 to 12 minutes. The common side effect of this drug include,

Sore throat

Flushing

Headache

Congested nose

However, sometimes you might experience depression, anxiety, and stress. Because so many things cause ED, other forms of treatment can help in improving the condition. These methods include the following,

Meditation

Acupuncture

Penis implant pumps

Changing food diet

Exercise

On the contrary, vitamins and supplements can be effective, as reported by some people. The most common dietary supplements for erectile dysfunction include:

Yohimbe

L-arginine and

Ginseng

However, since there are many risks associated with these erection pills, please consult the doctor before using them or any other natural treatment. Sometimes the doctor might recommend the following methods of treatment.

Alprostadil (Caverject, MUSE, Viridal)

This is the second therapy for ED, and it’s available in injection or as a urethral suppository. It dilates the blood vessels, increasing blood flow in the penis and allowing it to erect.

Testosterone Replacement

This is usually done when one has a low level of testosterone. The therapy includes the replacement of the male sex hormone to improve ED. It can either be done alone or combined with other forms of therapy and medication. The level of testosterone hormone is determined by carrying out a blood test, and its symptoms include the following.

  • Reduce the size and strength of the muscles
  • Body hair loss
  • Reduction in sex drive
  • Increase fat in the body
  • Breast growth

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
