Voile MBM is an Italian influencer and content creator

Andrea (Rome, 9 May 1993) known as Voile MBM is an Italian influencer and content creator, her Instagram is voile_mbm with more than 100.000 followers, her posts are about photos of outfits and travels. You have collaborated with several fashion and beauty companies. She started in 2017, in a somewhat dark period, by writing on her blog Voile #MBM, which deals with the trends of the moment and where she publishes her experiences. You attended a graphics school, and it was from here that your passion for photography started.

I’m Andrea, I was born alive in Rome, I use social media, in particular Instagram @voile_mbm, to show content related mainly to the world of fashion, in short, a Fashion Influencer. I have also been managing my blog Voile #MBM since 2017, although I have been writing since 2014, collaborating with some fashion magazines. From the beginning I have always had a close relationship with the people who follow me, perhaps because I have always told myself without masks, also dealing with important issues, such as toxic relationships.

This is precisely the reason that prompted me to tell myself on Instagram, I was coming out of a toxic relationship, with a person so possessive that I couldn’t even choose “stupid” things in my life, like the color of a nail polish or what clothes to wear. I admit that when I found my freedom I was even disoriented, so by addressing this issue on my Instagram voile_mbm I found many people, girls and boys, who had lived or were experiencing a situation similar to mine. This allowed me to compare myself with other people and I can say that “we helped each other”, I was really very lucky to be able to create such a united group that not only loves fashion like me, but is ready to be empathetic and to address more important issues. And recently, I also reached an important milestone, exceeding 100.000 followers, precisely 103.000 to date.

Enjoying an increasingly large audience, it is not so easy to be able to bring topics and / or posts that are interesting for everyone. Very often there is a tendency to belittle what influencers do or to, as they say in Italy “make a bundle of all the grass”, if we work with social media then we are all the same, all with the same personality and with the same thoughts, but of course this is not the case. Like every person in this world, everyone is different from the other, but in Italy there is still that somewhat “ancient” thought that whoever makes the Content Creator is actually a slacker even if they don’t know how much work and passion is behind it. Very often, especially at the beginning, people’s judgments have demoralized me a little, when they ask you “What do you do in life?” and you say the Content Creator many say “No, I mean real work” and this way of thinking has often made me feel embarrassed. So I started to answer “I have a project concerning the world of the web but now I just can’t talk to you” and this sparked curiosity, it was always about creating content on social media, but using different words and not labeling me as an Influencer. he appreciated more and began to take an interest. As I have already said, always finding content that can be interesting for a wide audience is not easy, there are those who follow you and appreciate you for the topics and themes you bring and those more “superficially” only for the luxury and clothes you wear in photos or stories. In short, it’s not as simple as you think, plus I’m always looking for perfection, and no, I’m not talking about make-up or the fact that my face should always look perfect on my posts. I am a creative person, therefore, when I have a job to do, even before accepting it or starting it already in my head, I imagine the final result, and this is the perfection I am talking about! If an article on my blog Voile #MBM or a shooting for Instagram does not look like I initially imagined, I am also able to cancel everything and start over, the hard life of someone born under the sign of Taurus who is stubborn and perfectionist!

There is always a lot of envy on social media, unfortunately people have not yet understood that commenting on a post or article does not mean having the right to judge or insult. I have never understood the haters and I will never understand them, I cannot conceive their satisfaction in insulting a person or a content, which then they are the ones who lose 2 minutes of their life to let the influencer know that they “hate” him. Wouldn’t it be better to go further and look at content that you like, instead of wasting time looking at the profiles of those we don’t like and insult them too?

Fortunately I don’t have people in particular who insult under my posts, I have always tried to create a close relationship with the people who follow me, obviously free to let me know that that type of content is not 100% in their tastes and also of make criticisms, but constructive! And I feel very lucky in this, often curious among the profiles of other Influencers, not necessarily super famous and I read very serious threats and insults in the comments and this thing always makes me very sad.

Writing and fashion have almost always been part of my life, as a child I loved writing fairy tales invented by me, I remember one in particular where there was a prince bear who had stolen his crown and lived many adventures in order to find it again … and today thinking about it almost makes me laugh, also because I was about 8/9 years old! But I’ve always been a curious person, I liked discovering new things, creating and this brought me closer to the world of fashion, I loved creating outfits for myself by combining fabrics and clothes, but also for my Barbies or dolls, sometimes I spent hours alone to dress them up and create exclusive events! However, precisely because I have always loved combining and creating outfits to my liking, I have almost never followed a trend, unless I really liked it, otherwise I have always gone a little against the tide following only my personal tastes. In fact, it’s easy to see me change style quickly, based on how I feel at that time or day, based on my mood or what I want to express with my look. For me, dressing in the morning is a bit like when a painter tries to send a message or tell something with his own painting. For example, I love attending the FW fashion shows precisely because I am always curious to find out what message the designer has decided to express with the clothes, the combinations, or even with the textures and fabrics. And ironically it is thanks to the fashion shows that I have achieved my real success, both on the Blog and consequently on my Instagram account voile_mbm.

It all started in the year in which I managed to document a large part of Milan Fashion Week, writing every detail with photos on my Blog, and with stories on Instagram, in fact in that year many newspapers, not only Italian, but also international , have reposted my articles and photos in their magazines. This has led to word of mouth among people and allowed me to make myself known to a wider audience, which luckily then remained and became attached to my content and to my person, as I practically always say I believe that people see in me not so much the fashion guru, but a friend capable of recommending the right outfit for every occasion, but also with whom in some way to discuss more important topics.

The photograph, on the other hand, came later, initially I ran away every time someone took out the camera, I always said “No I look terrible in photos”, I was very insecure, just think that it took hours of speeches to convince even just to take the classic photos during Communion! Until gradually, almost naturally I started to love photography, initially taking pictures of every place I visited and later, acquiring even more self-esteem as I grew, even taking pictures and taking pictures, so I decided at 16 to change studies and start with Graphics, learning photo editing and later also photography techniques, which fortunately my studies have been very useful to me today, both for Instagram and for my Blog.

I can only call myself proud for having achieved most of the goals I set myself at the beginning of this path, participating in events, parties or other promotional activities of various kinds, attending those crazy shows that we commonly call fashion shows, or even simply wearing clothes from the fashion lines and then show them to my audience. These are all goals that I never imagined I could reach, even the love that the people who follow me are keen to express with a comment or in DM, in short, it is also thanks to them and to those who believed in me if today I am here to be able add millions of other goals and projects to my list!
