The title says it all doesn’t it? Four poster beds are fantastic, and the fulfill a multitude of sexual needs. And I’m going to be discussing them in this article. Four poster beds no longer have to be traditional big carved wooden frames either. You can get them in varied styles of polished medals and wrought iron as well, and these work just as well as a traditional wooden frame.
Theres nothing like sprucing up any bedroom with a four poster bed, and a nice wrought iron bed framed four poster will also suit any dungeon as we stated in Two Bed, Bath, Kitchen and Dungeon. You can easily use a four poster bed to make sex and bondage a lot easier in a bedroom or dungeon. It allows you to tie someone to a bed in more adventurous ways, for example you can tie the rope at different levels of the posts. Also by having fixed corners to tie the rope up to you gain the bonus of really stretching your partner out to the point where you can stop them being able to move.
As well as using them to tie someone down on the bed itself they make a good place to tie your slave too. If you have a situation where you and your partner are either a submissive or dominant, you can use on of the four posters, or even a normal bed but its not quite as mobile, to tied your slave to. By this I mean using their collar and either a lead or rope so that they can move around but not leave the vicinity of the bed. In the same way you leave a dog tied to a lamp post when you go to the shops.
Another great thing that I really love about four poster beds is the hanging curtains that go with them, though knowing the average sexual experience people have those hangings may just get ripped off rather often. At least make sure you’re willing for that. I know I would be.
As a final bonus to a four poster bed, you can do all the pole dancing you like without the requirements of buying and fitting a pole. That and in some ways a wooden, carved pole is in some ways a bit classier.
Anyway, all in all four poster beds have in my view only pros and the only feasible con I can think of is the cost. With that in mind next time you fancy redecorating, or when you plan your dungeon, think of adding a four poster bed into the mix! Let us know if you do.
