Intimate Body Art: A Less Permanent Option

Intimate Body Art: A Less Permanent Option

It grew in slow bursts as society evolved and today you can expect to see most women sporting fashionably pierced ears and around 10% of Brits over 16 sporting piercings in places other than their earlobes. Around 33% of those other piercings can be found in the ever-exposed bellybutton, the nipple and tongue were both at 9%, and 2% are taking the plunge with genital piercings. Labia and clitoral piercings are among the most common of the genital piercings, but men are also enjoying the adding sensual pleasure of a glans piercing which has a number of different popular variations.

Genital tattoos are rare enough to be considered ‘unusual’, but are still on the rise as more people are turning to this permanent art form to show off their sensual side. From butterflies to tribal tattoos, people are experimenting with all kinds of intimate tattoo designs to attract attention and make them feel sexy.

If you’re interested in jazzing up your intimate regions and you’re not quite ready to go under the needle, why not add a touch of bling with something less permanent? Thanks to inspiration from the hit TV show The Only Way is Essex you can spice up your snatch with the Vajazzle or stick-on body jewels for a glittering addition to your night-time ensemble. While it doesn’t have quite the same erotic appeal as a labia piercing, it will definitely turn heads if you decide to show it off!

Not to be left out, nipples are also ready to be put on display with decorative stick-on jewels that are designed to highlight and define your most sensitive regions. These are more suited to intimate use in the bedroom, but they won’t go amiss under a semi-transparent top or dress if you’re planning a night out.
