STATIN SIDE EFFECTS

STATIN SIDE EFFECTS

In my opinion, having narrow joints, hips and shoulders can increase the risk of statin-induced myopathy as the body lacks adequate strong tissues and cells to naturally prevent muscle injury or damage. Narrow hips, shoulders, and hips and muscles and impair proper functioning of the body muscles which inhibits supply of essential enzymes and nutrients such as kinase which prevent muscle injury and myopathy.

Frailty which is characterized by weak muscles that are too delicate and vulnerable to aging increase myopathy risks. The less physical activity, and increased stress that induces frailty among the elderly can lead to muscle mass and weight loss which puts in higher risk of muscle injury or myopathy as the muscles are weak, of poor quality and lack the needed nutrients to prevent muscle damage. Other surprising statin myopathy include low levels of serotonin hormones, alcohol intake and effects of other medications.

Using the acquired academic and professional experience, I advise patients with various complaints about mental health - depressed mood, nervousness, lack of energy and interest, sleep disorders, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts and anxieties, difficulty concentrating, and stress. In my free time, I love to paint and go on long walks on the beach. One of my latest obsessions is sudoku – a wonderful activity to calm an unease mind.
