THE SCIENCE OF PHEROMONES

THE SCIENCE OF PHEROMONES

Pheromone is chemically released by animal cells and can change the habit or behaviors of another creature but of the same species. Pheromones influence behavioral changes in other living organisms, especially animals that share a common species group.

Types

•             Releaser pheromones -are associated with sexual attraction and have a quick, reliable response like in love at first sight cases.

•             Signaler pheromones are used to identify other animals or organisms; for instance, a mother can smell the scent of their offspring.

•             Primer pheromones take longer to deliver or respond and can impact physiological processes like menstrual cycles, reproduction, growth, puberty, and hormonal reactions.

•             Modulator pheromones -are responsible for adjusting and synchronizing body functions.

In sexual attraction, pheromones are highlighted when opposite sides tend to feel attracted to each other. Pheromones trigger sexual desires, attraction, arousal, and fertility by releasing chemical messengers through urine, hair, saliva, or sweat after being detected in the form of scent. The scent of a man or woman plays a major role in determining sexual attraction. People attracted to each other can get sexually aroused when they smell each other’s scent.

Androsterone pheromones are secreted by ovaries, adrenal glands, and testes, and it’s what makes men look attractive to women and vice versa.
