Standing bent-knee calf stretch

The standing bent-knee stretch mainly releases tension in the soleus. I recommend doing it during your cool down session after training. When executing the stretch, it is best to hold it for about 50 sec. To do it, follow the steps below;

  • Stand upright and take a step forward with the right leg.
  • Slightly bend the right knee
  • Keeping your chest out, andslightly lower your butt as you press into the left heel- feel the stretch
  • Stay here for 45-50 sec
  • Do the same on the other side
