DO BEANS & LEGUMES WORSEN INDIGESTION AND BLOATING?

If you frequently experience bloating and indigestion, eating beans and legumes, including lentils and peas, may worsen your situation.  Beans have high raffinose quantities- a complex sugar that is hard to digest. They also increase gassiness due to high fiber amounts. But studies indicate that consuming black-eyed peas gives less gassiness compared to baked beans. That suggests that not all legumes have similar bloating and indigestion troubles. I recommend you limit intake of these foods if your stomach has regular indigestion problems.

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
