FOODS TO AVOID FOR A GOOD SLEEP

I highly recommend you limit your intake of these foods when looking for good quality sleep;

Spicy Foods

Eating meals containing spicy ingredients such as hot peppers and other additives can lead to heartburn or raise normal body temperatures disrupting your sleep cycle.

Caffeinated foods and drinks

Coffee, soda, chocolate, tea, and ice creams might contain caffeine strains that are not good for quality sleep. The caffeine can keep you alert for long or make it difficult to fall asleep as it is a stimulant.

Heavy Meals

Taking heavy, unhealthy foods like fries, cheese, and fatty foods can result in indigestion as the system takes longer to break them down, which disrupts peaceful sleep.

Sugary or high GI foods

Consuming candies, sweets, biscuits, white bread, and other sugary snacks or foods can harm your sleep quality. They are high in added sugars, salt, and caffeine, affecting blood sugar levels and triggering sleeping disorders such as insomnia, apnea, and frequent wake-ups.
