1) What are your thoughts on the study/findings?
I think people with RA should consider low-fat and vegan food and eliminate trigger foods to lower the severity of the symptoms. A change in diet is a great idea to see if it works for you.
2) How does a low-fat and vegan diet (along with “eliminating remaining trigger foods”) reduce rheumatoid arthritis symptoms?
Research shows that this diet contains anti-inflammatory properties that reduceinflammation and pain in the joints. A plant-based diet also heightens the gut bacteria components and raises bacterial diversity in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
3) Is there anything else people should know about how their diet might affect rheumatoid arthritis symptoms?
The diet can also lead to reduced cholesterol and weight loss, which researchers think could be another reason it helps reduce RA symptoms.
4) Is there anything else you’d like to add? Thank you!
This diet not only helps people with arthritis but also diabetes, pneumonia, and heart disease.
