Drink Herbal Teas
As a registered psychologist, I discovered that adding herbal teas to your wellness toolbox can also elevate your emotional and mental well-being. Herbal teas (think: ginger, valerian, green tea, rooibos, turmeric, and lemongrass) can cause an increase in your “Love hormone” levels and relax your nerves, lifting your mood.
Practice Kindness
Research shows that random acts of kindness can improve your happy hormones (endorphins, oxytocin, serotonin). Amazingly, you don’t have to do something big to spread love and increase the levels of the said hormones. A simple email or text message can make all the difference.

- Fish (salmon, sardines, mackerel, and trout)
- Whole fruits (oranges, apples, and bananas)
- Dark Chocolate
